We are committed to providing the highest quality research chemicals and laboratory-grade materials to customers worldwide, including substances such as Silver Mercury, Bisphenol A, Methylene Chloride, Hydriodic Acid, Sodium Cyanide, Nitromethane, Red Phosphorus, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Hydrogen Peroxide, and more.
1. General Policy
Due to the sensitive nature of chemical products and strict safety and regulatory standards, all sales made through AM CHEMICALS are considered final once the order is confirmed and dispatched. However, we understand that exceptional cases may arise. Refunds or replacements will be handled according to the guidelines below.
2. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or replacement only under the following conditions:

You received the wrong item or incorrect chemical.

The product arrived damaged, leaking, or contaminated.

There was an error in labeling or documentation.

The item was delivered past its expiration date.
To qualify, the issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photo or video evidence.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
For safety, regulatory, and quality control reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:

Any opened, used, or unsealed chemicals.

Products that have been tampered with or repackaged.

Items damaged due to improper storage or handling after delivery.

Custom-synthesized, special-order, or bulk chemical orders.

Products that have been exported and cleared through customs outside the United States.
Please note: Because chemicals can degrade or react if mishandled, returned substances cannot be safely restocked or resold.
4. Reporting a Return or Refund Request

5. Refunds (If Approved)
Once your request is reviewed and approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
You will receive an email notification once the refund is completed.
Refunds are exclusive of shipping, handling, and transaction fees unless the return is due to an error on our part.
6. Replacements
If eligible, we may offer a replacement shipment rather than a refund. Replacements are sent at no cost to the customer when the issue results from:

Manufacturer or packaging error
Replacements typically ship within 5–7 business days after claim approval.
7. Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, except where the return is caused by our error.

Returns must be shipped using DOT-compliant hazardous material packaging and carriers approved for chemical transport.

Returns that do not meet shipping or labeling compliance will be rejected for safety reasons.
8. Order Cancellation
Orders can be canceled only before processing and dispatch. Once the product has entered the preparation or shipping stage, cancellations are not possible due to handling and compliance restrictions.
To request cancellation, please email us within 12 hours of order placement.
9. International Orders
International shipments will take longer time to process due to export and customs restrictions on hazardous materials.
Returns or refunds will be accepted once an investigation has been made once the package has been exported from the U.S.
